Storage Wars – The New Reality Show
You know television executives must be grasping for ideas when they decide to make a television show about storage facilities. Of course we here at Proguard Storage love talking about storage, but I’m a little wary about making an entire show about it. Storage Wars is a reality show on A&E that follows four professional buyers as they raid people’s storage units for hidden treasures. This show takes Antiques Roadshow to a whole new level. The bidders enter the storage unit equipped with only a flashlight and they must quickly assess if the unit is full of items worth buying.
After purchasing the entire unit, the buyers see if their purchase was well worth the money or if everything really is just trash. They then hold an auction and hopefully rake in profits. These deal hunters find everything from coffins to micro-cars to shrunken heads! Finding weird stuff is probably the highlight of the show.
