Helping Your Friend Make the (Storage) Move
He’s your best friend from college. You’ve been together through tough times and always managed to pull each other out. Heck, you even made the toast at his wedding.
Your visits to his home have become less frequent though. In the past few years he has been accumulating so much stuff in his house, that it has become uncomfortable. Everybody has stuff. But they usually know when to throw things out or when to properly tuck them away in one Houston self storage facility or another.
Just start with a small talk. Show him how many friends are already enjoying great spaces in their homes, having taken all their stuff to storage. Does he have collectibles he is afraid to give away? No problem. Climate controlled storage units can store the valuables in a controlled environment. Perhaps even better than just having it in a drawer at home.
It may not be easy deciding what part of your life you want to store and what you want to keep around, but you would probably be surprised at the amount of self storage locations that are available near your home. Have the talk. Make his life better by cluttering his house. He’ll definitely thank you once he sees his home without all the clutter.
