Find the Right Size Self Storage Units
I’m not sure how your spacial skills are, but mine aren’t very good. Besides not doing well on that portion of the SATs, it also means I can’t tell just how much stuff I own. When you plan on using a unit for several large pieces of furniture plus boxes, it can become quite tricky.
You don’t want to end up with a storage unit that’s far too big because it will be quite a waste of money. And on the flip side, if the space is too small, you will end up having to move all those items once again into a bigger unit. How does the calculator work? There is a form that breaks down all major items you would find in each room of your home. Simply enter in the number of pieces you have and presto, you’re done! Of course this is just a rough estimate. Remember to take into account how large these pieces of furniture are and if you will be storing other boxes and miscellaneous items.
